After the success of our post training stretching hosted by local Yoga instructor Melody we are introducing Wednesday evening yoga sessions until the light holds out.
We will be trialing these in the park (to keep costs down for all members) and is open to all Athletics East members, family and friends. The more the merrier.
When: Every Wednesday starting from Wednesday 19th February
Where: Centennial Park. Meet across from the main Cafe on the grass, next to the water bubbler.
Time: 6.30 – 7.30pm

- 5-10pp: $12
- 10+ $10
What to bring: A mat and / or a Towel, water bottle and a strap to help facilitate stretching (something similar to this would be good http://www.yogaaccessories.com/10-foot-cinch-buckle-cotton-yoga-strap.html)
What to wear: Something comfortable you can easily move and stretch in (running attire will be perfect)
We all know that us runners sometimes neglect our stretching but it is such an important injury prevention method or of course if you are on the road back from injury a great way to get you back on track quicker.
